Shake Up Mother’s Day With 3 Brunch-Ready Cocktails

Forget the burnt toast and the "World’s Best Mom" mug for a second. If you really want to celebrate the woman who dealt with your teenage years, you’re going to need something chilled, sparkling, and served in a fancy glass.

Whether your mom is a "rosé all day" enthusiast or a "double shot of espresso" powerhouse, we’ve got the perfect pour for her special Sunday.

The "Mom-osa" Upgrade

Best for: The Classic Bruncher

The standard OJ-and-bubbly is fine, but Mom deserves a promotion. Swap the orange juice for blood orange or white peach puree to create a sophisticated Bellini vibe.

  • The Trick: Rim the glass with a little sugar and zest for that "I spent all morning on this" look.

The Empress Elderflower Fizz

Best for: The Garden Goddess

If your mom spends her weekends pruning roses, she’ll love this floral, botanical delight. It’s light, refreshing, and incredibly photogenic.

  • The Build: * 2 oz Gin (Empress 1908 gin turns it a royal purple!)

    • 1 oz Elderflower Liqueur

    • A splash of fresh lemon juice

    • Top with Prosecco and a sprig of mint.

The "Keep Up With The Kids" Cold Brew Martini

Best for: The Mom Who Never Sits Down

Is she the one organizing the entire family gathering? Give her a delicious caffeine kick. This is smoother and less "nightclub" than a standard Espresso Martini.

  • The Build: * 2 oz Vodka

    • 1 oz Cold brew concentrate

    • 0.5 oz Coffee liqueur

    • A dash of vanilla extract

  • Pro Tip: Shake it with ice until your hands feel like they’re going to freeze off—that’s how you get that perfect foamy top.

A Quick Tip: If Mom isn’t drinking, all of these translate beautifully into mocktails. Swap the spirits for seedlip or sparkling cider, and keep the fancy garnishes. It’s the effort that counts (but the gin helps).

Cheers to the woman who does it all!
