West Palm Beach is getting a new heartbeat, and it’s called Nora District. Set to open its first phase in late 2025, this $1 billion mixed-use neighborhood reimagines 40 acres north of downtown into a walkable enclave of design, dining, and discovery.
Named for “North Railroad Avenue,” Nora is where old industrial bones meet new creative energy, a place that feels more SoHo-meets-South Florida than suburban sprawl.
Developed by NDT Development, Place Projects, and Wheelock Street Capital, the project’s first wave will debut a curated mix of restaurants, boutiques, wellness studios, and social spaces, all within palm-shaded streets and art-filled courtyards.
Confirmed openings include Del Mar Mediterranean, Juliana’s, Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar, Indaco, Sana Skin Studio, Warby Parker, and IGK Salon—a lineup that reads like a who’s-who of modern lifestyle brands.
Beyond retail, Nora is positioning itself as a cultural hub—a place where design galleries, rooftop lounges, and live music spill into the open air. Expect to see chefs, creatives, and stylish locals treating it as their daily playground.
With Nora, West Palm is finally getting what Palm Beach never needed: a downtown scene that’s cool, curated, and just a little bit rebellious.
