Delamar Westport: Where Coastal Ease Meets Couture Design

ree

There’s a new reason to linger on Connecticut’s Gold Coast—and it’s spelled Delamar Westport. The long-awaited boutique hotel has officially opened at 1595 Post Road East, transforming the site of the former Westport Inn into a destination that feels at once local and luminous, chic yet unmistakably relaxed.

With 86 rooms and suites, the property blends modern coastal design with a distinctly cosmopolitan sensibility—the kind of place where a martini tastes better under soft light and every corner seems designed for conversation.

Inside, Christian Siriano, the New York–based designer and longtime Connecticut resident, has brought his couture touch to the interiors, infusing each space with sculptural furniture, saturated color, and a quietly confident sense of glamour. His three custom Siriano Suites are the crown jewels: part fashion atelier, part art installation, part sanctuary. The lobby itself feels like a stylish gathering of ideas—equal parts hotel, gallery, and daydream.

The hotel’s restaurant, Dandelion, extends that same creative spirit to the table. Mediterranean-inspired and sunlit by day, it shifts into something intimate and glowing by night—serving fresh seafood, house-made pastas, and cocktails that taste like an endless summer.

Outside, terraces spill into gardens, and guests drift between the bar, lounge, and outdoor seating as if at a private estate party. Together, it’s everything you expect from a Delamar—warmth, polish, and effortless sophistication, but with a little more imagination. Westport finally has a hotel that doesn’t just welcome you in; it makes you want to stay awhile.
