Palm Beach is polishing the silver and fluffing the palm fronds—The Vineta Hotel is finally making its return. Once the grande dame of island society, the nearly 100-year-old pink stucco beauty is being reborn under the Oetker Collection—the hospitality group behind Le Bristol Paris and Eden Rock St. Barths. Yes, this is their first U.S. address, and they’ve chosen a spot just off Worth Avenue. Très chic.

Inside, it’s 41 luminous rooms and suites by Tino Zervudachi, who knows a thing or two about Riviera-ready style. Think Mediterranean Revival bones with a fresh Palm Beach glow. The social life? Re-engineered. There’s Coco’s, serving refined Mediterranean flavors in a lush courtyard; The Bar, with just-the-right amount of throwback glamour; and The Pool House, a breezy perch that begs for late-afternoon rosé.

Even wellness gets the island treatment: in-room spa therapies, massages, facials—all without ever stepping into a lobby. Because sometimes, discretion really is the ultimate luxury.

Yes, the opening has been delayed (again). But come winter 2025, The Vineta promises to give Palm Beach back its most charming grande dame—refreshed, intimate, and ready for its next century of soirées.

Book your kaftans and linen blazers accordingly.
