A Cocktail Steeped in History

Blue Lady Cocktail

The Blue Lady is a captivating cocktail that's both visually striking and easy to make. Despite its straightforward recipe, its origins are a bit of a mystery!

Some sources credit Victor Cabrin, the mastermind behind the White Lady, as the inventor of the Blue Lady in the 1920s or 30s. However, others claim Harry MacElhone gets the nod for this delightful drink, suggesting he swapped gin for creme de menthe in a classic recipe.

Regardless of its creator, the Blue Lady's appeal is undeniable. The vibrant blue hue from blue curaçao blends beautifully with the botanical notes of gin, while fresh lemon juice adds a touch of tartness.
