The Colony’s “Living Room Series” Returns | Palm Beach’s Chicest Cocktail-Hour Salon

If Wednesdays in Palm Beach had a dress code, it would be whisper-elegant with a dash of playful surprise. The Colony’s much-loved Living Room Series is back — and with it, the island’s most effortlessly stylish mid-week ritual.

Every Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m., The Colony’s iconic Living Room transforms into a live salon — equal parts cocktail hour, culture club, and Palm Beach house party. Guests mingle over martinis and moody jazz while designers, editors, and creative insiders take the floor for conversations that feel more like fireside chats than formal panels.

It’s where you’ll find the most interesting people in Palm Beach — from local luminaries to visiting style icons — sharing stories, laughter, and a few too-pretty-to-post moments beneath the hotel’s famous pink ceiling. The atmosphere is relaxed, buzzy, and undeniably chic: think linen and La Vie en Rose, perfectly shaken.

The Colony’s signature pink-and-green palette sets the tone, but this isn’t about performance — it’s about presence. A place to pause mid-week, sip something cold, and be reminded why Palm Beach still has its own brand of magic.

If you’re on the island this season, consider this your insider invitation. The Living Room Series runs November through April, and while it’s open to all, it feels delightfully like a secret.
